I think everyone loves the sea and I adore spending time by it. Recently I had a week in South Cornwall very near Porthcurno beach. I also explored Mousehole, Sennen and Lamorna, Cape Cornwall and St Just. Below are photos of sketchbook studies to show my initial ideas. These will be developed into more definitive work over the winter, but still enscapulating that vestigial mark making and conveying that initial rush of emotions experienced whilst out in this, at times, very raw place. Read more on my blog...
